Anti snail trails series EVA film
F406PS&F806PS
Product introduction
The “snail trails” phenomenon has drawn considerable attention in the PV solar module industry. It can be observed as a kind of partial Ag contact finger discoloration on the micro-cracked cells of PV modules in the field. F•RST® F406PS and F806PS EVA are specifically designed to relieve the snail trails phenomenon by its antioxidant characteristics and barrier properties. The F406PS and F806PS EVA also exhibit excellent durability and PID resistance.
Anti snail trails properties
The certification result by PI Photovoltaic Institute: no visible snail trails observed on a crystalline silicon PV module encapsulated by F406PS/F806PS EVA after two cycles of PI test sequences.
